Reelforge
A director and editor layer for short vertical videos: a reel survives as addressable shots, so one shot can be re-rolled without rebuilding the rest.

SYSTEM NOTEThe problem it solves
Generated video is paid per second and judged per shot. When one shot is wrong, the usual pipeline re-renders the whole reel and pays for every good shot again.
PROCESS RAILHow it works
[01]
Brief
a reel is described as shots with roles, references and durations
[02]
Proof
a one-credit proof render before any budget is committed
[03]
Render
each shot rendered through the gated video lane, ledger entry per shot
[04]
Cut
the editor assembles shots, captions and the house outro
[05]
Register
the finished reel is handed to the content pipeline; it never publishes on its own
SYSTEM NOTEUnder the hood
- Shots are first-class records; a re-roll touches one shot and one ledger line
- Sits on the existing reel builder; the renderer was not touched
- Every render passes the video preflight lane: prompt lint, proof, budget check, dedupe, quality check
- Seedance at 720p by default; resolution is the economy lever, never the model
FIELD NOTEWhy it matters
Iteration cost drops from a reel to a shot, which is what makes weekly short-form output sustainable.
